If you do not like the weathered ipe look (ipe hardwood is brown when first installed but then turns a silver patina over time) we can restain your deck periodically so it maintains its original color.

SAFETY FIRST!
Some softwoods are treated with preservatives and contain toxic chemicals. These preservatives are necessary, especially if the lumber will be in contact with soil (such as posts). There are some chemicals that have been phased out by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. If you suspect that your deck was built with wood treated with CCA (chromated copper arsenate), please consider replacing that deck. If your deck was built before 2002, call us for a free evaluation.
